Lady Foscarini was the owner of the Villa sice 1778 and in the XIX century the new owner, a general of the Garibaldi’s army decided to change the name in “Caprera” the placebirth of Garibaldi. During the Second World War was a German Army strategic base to control the territory. At this purpose the soldiers took up position on the park’s higher tree. Now Fabrizio and Gloria Santi have bought and restored the villa. They bring the villa up to the ancient magnificence: the restoration of the building and the park is source of pride for the local Cultural Heritage.
Today everyone can live in Villa Caprera magic moments and breath history and legend at the same time. The Santi’s Family can host events, meeting and wedding and the menu proposes traditional local cusine and other interesting recipes.
The interiors give to the guests the warm welcoming of an house, and the sumptuous “Sala degli Specchi”, with two Murano glass imperial chandeliers, the original floors and the perfectly restored frescos are suitable of a Royal residence. In front of the facade there is a romantic garden, and the villa is surronded by the huge park were flows the river “Muson”.
