The Secret Gardens
The Villa Marcello Marinelli is a classic 18th-century Venetian country mansion that has been meticulously restored and updated with 21st-century amenities. Villa guests can choose between 6 rooms or 7 apartments, each elegantly decorated in Venetian style.
The hotel is situated in the ancient village of Cison di Valmarino, named one of the “best small towns in Italy,” a medieval hamlet that lies along the “Strada del Prosecco” or Prosecco Route.
The “Via dell’Acqua” or “Water Trail” is a favorite attraction for visitors: It winds through the town’s old water mills and its beautifully restored houses. Rising above the village, the CastelBrando, an ancient Roman castle, includes restaurants, a bar, and a spa — all of which are available to our guests.
The Villa Marcello Marinelli is renowned for its frescoed dining room where the hotel’s chef serves locally sourced, seasonal foods and classic Veneto cuisine inspired by the wines of Prosecco.
The hotel concierge will be happy to help you plan your activities during your stay. Besides winery visits and wine tastings, guests can also visit the nearby Palladio villas, the Abbey at Follina, the Castel di Collalto. There are local golf courses (from 18 to 27 holes). And horse-riding and hiking trips are also available
