Mulinoantico is 20 minutes drive from Venice, 25 minutes from Treviso, 45 minutes from Vicenza, 40 minutes from Padova, 1½ hours from Verona and I hour from Rovigo. In other words, you can reach any of the cities of the Veneto in less than an hour and a half. You can visit these important cities in the knowledge that afterwards an oasis of peace awaits you.

Nearby, less than 1 km away, sports enthusiasts can find a riding stables, a swimming-pool, a tennis court, football pitch and bike-hire facilities.

A long driveway lined with different coloured roses and jasmine greets you , leading you to the portico of the villa with its stunning, verdant, panoramic view.

The villa is exquisitely located in the heart of a two-acre park, home to precious trees of all varieties, including fruit trees, and flowering shrubs: rosebushes, magnolias and jasmine. An oasis, instilling peace and tranquillity.

Ping-pong table available. Statuettes of 18th Century putti decorate the garden and the “lighting effects” under the trees set the scene for your evenings.

Mulinoantico is located on the banks of the River Dese, which once drove the mill’s waterwheel (still here). There is a vast green area where you can play football or bowls with your children and friends.

Or take leisurely, relaxing walks around the park to unwind and restore your well-being.

The villa was originally a 16th Century mill and functioned as such until 1950; the waterwheel is still here and continues to provide its historical testimony of old rural traditions.

Mulinoantico is surrounded by two acres of private parkland. The building comprises: the left wing, containing two large rooms, the Millstone Room on the ground floor and the Granary Room on the first floor; the dramatic and light-filled central portico and the barchessa (outbuilding) on the right, with its two great arches (these can be completely opened) melding the villa interior with the nature around it.

The restoration of the villa in 2006 has faithfully respected the heritage of the building and the park, creating an exclusive and flexible venue for events of all kinds. The spacious car-park can accommodate up to 60 cars.

The left wing contains two large rooms: the Millstone Room on the ground floor, with bathroom and the Granary room on the first floor, also with bathroom.

The Millstone Room boasts the original 16th century beams; it measures 120mq and is ideal for events for up to 80 people seated at table. The Granary Room on the first floor has the original 16th century trusses and measures 150mq, with a capacity of 120 people (seated at table). An internal staircase connects the two rooms.


The central light-filled portico creates perfect balance between the two wings.


The Hay-Barn Room in the right wing of the building is the third room on the ground floor of the Barchessa; measuring 60mq, it can accommodate up to 50 people. It leads on to the garden through three arched doorways which can be opened completely. This is an ideal space for pre-event cocktails.


These are dreamy and exquisite spaces for your celebration: weddings, anniversaries, gala dinners, birthdays, graduations, professional meetings and reunions. The vast green space in front of the Barchessa can be fitted out with elegant gazebos or large umbrellas and accommodates up to 250/300 people.


We can organize high-quality catering with tailor-made menus and source professional DJ’s. The villa is yours, exclusively, for events involving 100 people or more.


The Barchessa is perfect for your holiday; it occupies the right wing of the villa and extends over two floors for a total area of 350 mq. The Barchessa is ideal for groups of friends and relatives who want to spend a happy holiday together close to nature.


The building is fully equipped with all modern conveniences, energy-saving heating and air-conditioning systems, Internet WiFi connection, washing-machine and dishwasher, satellite TV, ironing-room.


There are 5 bedrooms on the upper floor: 3 doubles and 2 rooms with 6 beds, for a total capacity of 12. The arrangement of the beds can be modified according to your requirements. Decor is rustic and these rooms are functional, quiet and comfortable. Every room has energy-saving air-conditioning units (Daikin) and all the mattresses orthopaedic. Three large bathrooms are at the disposal of the guests staying in these rooms, with bathtubs and shower cabins. The principal bedroom is furnished exclusively with antique pieces.


There is a functioning fireplace in the dining-room downstairs, which will keep you cosy and warm on winter evenings, thanks to the firewood we will provide for you. The salon is furnished with period pieces and 16th century paintings and accommodates up to 12 people seated at table. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need and is accessed from the dining-room through the two doors of a wide hallway. The hallway contains a bathroom with shower cabin and washing-machine.


Further along the hallway is the salon, furnished with antiques, comfortable sofas and a piano. Three large arched doors open onto the park from the salon, so that eating al fresco becomes an option when the weather is good. Garden seats and tables are at your disposal.
